Though the building had been vacant for many years prior to Ron and Linde’s project, many of it’s authentic. With the help of Greeley downtown philanthropist Bob Tointon, they landed their business in the beautiful Art Deco Kress building, originally a Kress Department Store built in the late 1920s. When Ron and Linde decided to open an indie movie theater, they had their sights set on Greeley’s downtown which had very few entertainment businesses at the time. In 2008, my in-laws, Ron and Linde Thompson, opened an independent movie theater, bar and restaurant in Greeley, Colorado, called the Kress Cinema & Lounge. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there. Thanks for sharing your story with us Justin. Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Ghofrani.
